Nairobi is a modern city barely 100 years old, and has plenty of attractions for the visitor to explore. These include historical and cultural attractions set amidst a lively, bustling atmosphere. The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport which is a communications hub for the entire East African region is 10 kilometers from the city centre.

Just 7 kilometers to the south of the city center is the Nairobi National Park. Here one can view the BIG FIVE with the exception of the Elephant. There is also a National Museum and Snake Park just a kilometer from the city center.

Nairobi’s international status is attested by the availability of first class service offered in its range of fine hotels. These have professional staffing from the KENYA UTALII COLLEGE, a specialized institution for training staff for the tourism industry. Hotel categories range from budget bed and breakfast to royal five star world-class luxury establishments. There are numerous well appointed restaurants where international cuisine is available.

International banking and good quality hospital facilities are also available.
One can shop for souvenirs within the city center and its environs.
